If you're an internet marketer or online business owner,
then you're probably aware of email marketing and the benefit it can have to bring in more sales.
Having an email mailing list is essential, but the problem that most face, and a question that gets asked often, are ways in which you can build your email mailing list.
Most people struggle at this and find it hard to accumulate a large list of subscribers.
I've tried many different methods and have found the techniques I'm going to share with you
to be very affective, aside from buying leads.
There are many different approaches in which you can take to build your email
mailing list. I’m going to focus on three specific techniques I use to build up
my list of subscribers and how you can do the same. All of them are free, but
each requires different amounts of time that you’ll need to spend on them. The
first one we're going to cover for today is the use of a lead capture form.
The easiest method is using a simple lead capture form on your website.
If you don’t have a website, then you'll have to wait for the other two methods... sorry.
With this method, it’s as simple as copy and pasting some code from your autoresponder and placing it on your website.
The key here is to place the form above the fold, meaning that when someone visits your site,
they’ll see the form right away without having to scroll down the page.
To make the form appealing to visitors, you’re going to want to offer something of value for free
to get people to sign up to your email mailing list.
I'm sure you can find some PLR ebooks or something that you can give away as an incentive.
The ebook should be targeted and related to what your newsletter and website are about.
Make the ebook available for your subscribers to download only after they have joined your list.
You can offer any incentive you want, but you must make sure that it contains value and that your subscribers will be able to gain something from it.
You want them to be happy and look forward to more that you have to share with them.
That's all for today.
Get those lead capture forms up and start building your email mailing list.
Tomorrow, we'll discuss how you can gain even more subscribers with the use of Traffic Exchanges.
Good advice. I've build a several lists using a small percentage of sqeeze pages and free products. You have to be carful that it doesn't effect your list's effectivness if you want to sell anything. Too many freebie seekers will kill a list pretty quickly. It's just a balancing game.
ReplyDeleteThat's very true Brian.
ReplyDeleteIf you give away too much, you will find that you are left just with people who are not willing to ever pay for your help and these people in the long run will never succeed online.
Most of what you need can be gotten for free but sooner or later you will have to make some small commitment to your future online which costs you more than your time.
